The history of the KNECHT brand goes back to the ancient century. In 1899 in Niemečchina, near the town of Bad Cannstatt, the entrepreneur Adolf Knecht founded a small metallurgical plant, on the basis of which in 1929 the production of air, oil and scorch filters was created. The company name was KNECHT FILTERWERKE.



In 1972, the company had a controlling stake in KNECHT FILTERWERKE, which until then provided solid evidence of the production of automotive and industrial filters and filtration systems, which were added by the MAHLE FILTERSYSTEME concern, which was included in MAHLE group, which unites a number of great companies, such as vibrate auto components and assemble them.



The KNECHT company is ranked at the bottom of the leading European filter manufacturers and filtration systems. The assortment of its products is varied and includes air filters, shower filters, heated filters, interior cleaning filters for practically all brands and models of cars around the world, as well as filtration systems ії for industrial stagnation.



The headquarters of KNECHT is located in Stuttgart (Nimeczina). Viral enterprises are established in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Great Britain and others. All smells are certified according to international standards: ISO 9001, QS 9000, ISO/TS 16949 and VDA 6.1.



KNECHT filters are manufactured on a proprietary basis, based on the best research and design developments carried out by the MAHLE FILTERSYSTEME research and development center. Nowadays, all equipment that is used for the production of filters, including mechanical mechanisms, robots and electronics, is not only divided by MAHLE representatives, but also created at the concern’s factories.
